Maryland State CTE Program of Study Affiliates

Program of Study Affiliates are higher education partners that assist the Maryland State Department of Education in the development and improvement of CTE program curriculum, and provide quality professional development to the high school instructors teaching in these programs. In many cases, they also provide articulated or transcripted college credit to high school students completing these programs of study. Maryland has 43 CTE programs of study of which 38 are complete and implemented within the high schools. Twenty seven of these programs have program affiliates and many offer statewide articulation agreements.
